Club  Montero’s opened its doors for live music and salsa dancing on April 2003. This was the beginning of a new era for live latin music in the east bay area. Local bands from northern California graced the stage with their infectious  rhythms and songs driving the local dancers into a frenzy. Young and seasoned dancers from all walks of life met on the dance floor to share their common interest that filled a generation gap. Salsa lessons are taught on Fridays and Saturdays to assist those in need of adding a right foot. Montero’s is located at the west end of the famous “Solano Stroll” dining area on corner of San Pablo ave. and Solano ave. The restaurant includes a full service bar and serves a Mexican - South American latin fusion breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.
